Had a great day then this evening went to the Cinti. Symphonys Music Now program....very modern, spatial/cellular music......Penderickis Polymorphia ....some sections sounded like you were inside a beehive then Jonny Greenwoods (guitarist for Radiohead) 48 Responses to Polymorphia with the last section ending with the orchestra all shaking long dark brown beanpods - what a beautiful sound they make en masse! The score was an image of an oak leaf and Langree passed several out to the audience - very much in the spirit of Ellen DeGeneres passing out pizza at the Oscars. I went downstairs during intermission and brought some up to share in the balcony. Great fun!
