Had a great day today. Nothing like being outdoors in the summertime doing the work I love, driving the back roads and visiting with old friends. At the gathering I ran into Murphy Thomas, who used to always give us a hand with our Project Preserve videos. While video taping on the road, a big semi blew by, then stopped, hit reverse and low and behold it was Roy Nelson, school board member and forever supporter of video creation for the community..... Towards the end of the day I had stopped to get a few last shots and this big white dog came running up to me. He had a nice smile and immediately jumped up on me stretched his head to my face and gave me a big friendly lick on the face! Too cewl. I love Ponemah dogs - they are the friendliest pups on any reservation on the planet! Such a good day!
