Had a great message at church this am over the beginning of Romans 5. Vs 8 grabbed my thoughts and attention and spoke to me. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. First off, But God, its of no merit of my own, a completely free and open gift, unmerited grace. Demonstrated His love toward me, in that while I was a sinner, Christ sacrificed His life for mine, so that I could spend eternity with Him. Maybe the idea of sacrificing my life for someone elses hits a little closer to home for me now, but this verse drove deeper then it ever has before. Father, help me to live a victorious Christian life because of what Your Son did for me on the cross!!
