Had a great night over in Worcester last night.. huge thanks to Pot-Belly Phil for driving.Matt Bedlam Tucker for keeping the food outlets of Britain going !!... i am sure he has worms ?!! & of course for their great company too ! ~ Gutted to have missed the kings of hong kong..but heard they were ace !... and double guttedness for missing the Thee Emperors !!... tho was cool to have a natter with Chris Martin & i totally take off my hat to him for organising not only a great fund raiser.. but a fantastic event... it was RAMMED !! ~ bonus for the night was when i realised The Jack O Bones were playing !!.. superb as ever ! & as always a pleasure catching up with the guys.. Mandy Rush Cathy Bloxham etc. great people ..Cheers Mark Bending for the tracks... kick arse matey !! ...all the people at the venue..staff included were very welcoming...a great atmosphere !. We only heard a bit of a couple of bands due to gassing and smoking .... and keeping the burger van man going !!..(Matts fault !)....but i gotta say.. the band that headlined were a very cool rockin band too.. the Bravo boys.. but be carefull if ya google em !!.. a handy tip from Paul Harwood !! ~does that make ya an uphill gardener now buddy ?!! haha. On the way back phil played his latest cd from the band we totally missed called the straight aces ?.. or straight 8s ?..... about 20 track cover album..which i would usually turn my ears off too... but i tell ya what folks... they turn damned near every track they do..into a thumpin cool version that sounds like they originally done them !!.. very impressed !!. All in all a brilliant night out ..for a brilliant cause..... Bollocks to cancer.. it said it all really folks... and genuine thoughts to those concerned..tho we dont know them personally.... keep on rockin xx ~ A final thought on last night too..... to hear about a doubt of someones... loyalty.. & in the circumstances involved....... a serious bad taste in my mush i can tell ya !..... false loyalties , hypocritical b.s .... it does annoy the feck outta me !! ~ Peace , love n good rockin days to one n (nearly) all. ~ Now stick on some rockin music and hail to JESUS... .... are ya drinkin with me ?! xx
