Had a great start today with my classes! New set of Gen Music kids and blowing the cobwebs out of my 8th Grade Advanced Bands instruments!! I made a decision today on a student who Ive really been trying to work with!! I heard a message from Pastor Stewart at HOP that talked about not REACTING but instead RESPONDING!!! This morning instead of reacting to his persistent display of disrespect and disregard for the band while we are getting ready for Large Group Performance I responded by sending an Email to the counselor for him to be scheduled out of BAND! I dont like getting rid of kids but sometimes eliminating an ulcer saves the stomach!!!
