Had a great time at Tad Hargraves Non-Violent Communication - TopicsExpress

Had a great time at Tad Hargraves Non-Violent Communication seminar at the Creators Code evening last night. Some great nuggets from Tad - and I really appreciated his affirming, gentle, intuitive lifting up of people and ideas. Here are some things that might not seem as profound out of context - but that were meaningful for me. 1. Grief and Praise... Grief is a form of praise. It is an acknowledgement of the fact that eventually everything and everyone will go away. While that could be depressing it also means everything can be sacred in its impermanence. So grief says that something or someone mattered. That we cared, were touched, or were contributed to... that is praise! 2. Tad made a comment twice Nothing in the world depends on us for its sustenance - we depend on everything. Wow... interesting and humbling perspective for us humans who think we are all that and a bag of chips!! Thanks Jay Fiset for putting these monthly events on, thanks mike finch for hosting us at Self Connections, and thanks Tad Hargrave for the insights and inspiration!!
