Had a great time at my Outdoor Portrait class today. I feel I got a better understanding of shooting, settings and dealing with light in general. I volunteered Jade to be a model if needed. She ended up being the only model with about 10 people photographing her at one time. Most teenagers (or anyone for that matter) would have been totally intimidated by that much attention but she worked those photographers like nobodys business. LOL! She held poses and smiles (her face was about to break!) for long periods of time (well almost 2 hrs to be exact!). She even took turns looking at everyones camera (who thinks to do that?!). She did an AWESOME job and I am super proud of her. They were all very impressed with her modeling abilities and of course kept telling me how beautiful she was! Best part for her (neither of us knew)...they paid her $50. She was beyond thrilled with that. So her first PAID modeling job under her belt!
