Had a great time finding out more about Alice. First thing yesterday morning was to go to the one place I wanted to see in town and visited the magnificent Royal Flying Doctor Service. Got to look around one of their Pilatus P-12 aircraft, though it was a full scale indoors with the wings off, and being so used to flying and I never have to duck my head going onto an aircraft I walked straight into the cabin and banged my head on the overhead fuselage. Needing a doctor as I did funny enough, Liz was laughing at the bottom of the steps. Shes 10 inches shorter than me and walked up the steps still laughing and banged her head on the overhead fuselage and that did hurt, apparently, LOL! It must have coz I havent heard the feckin end of it since. She banged her head on the Kata Tjuta hike too a few days back when she fell backwards and hit a rock but I did it on the Sydney harbour bridge as well so current score for daftness is 2-2 and going to extra time. You have to crouch in these things. We watched their movie too and had a chat with staff. It was very inspirational and underlined everything I thought I knew about them. Brilliant service, great people.
