Had a great time this morning up on Jasons Ridge/Gaspari Loop/Meat Grinder/Caughlin Ponds. Shared trail with Kim Vandersyde for the first time (folks, the lady can run), plus Eric Eric Middleton, Katie Trent, Derek Beenfeldt, Jason Riddle, Jill Trent and Cathy Fitzgerald. We experienced some great, brief snowflakes as we crested Jasons, and on our descent on Gaspari, the great trail finders Kim and Katie came upon some huge, pretty fresh bear tracks. As the ladies pointed out the tracks, I took the opportunity to snap some photos, and perhaps just as importantly, I actually caught my breath for a few seconds. An awesome day out there this morning, with a great group of folks.
