Had a great time with all my extended family at the brickyard, finally had a full day with my son shawn first time in a while. Then I decided id go get some supper for us at taco bell, when I pulled around the building to order our food I noticed a young girl looking through the trash for a meal itsent a chill up my spine thinking this was happening less than a mile from my home. I ordered our food pulled back around the building andtold the girl I wanted to give her something she said all she wanted was food it broke my heart I told her I didnt want anything from her I just wanted to make sure she had something to eat and handed her some of our food. As I drove away I thought about how people say our economy is getting better and every one cares. Well it makes me wonder how many of these hypocrits drove right by this girl and never gave her another thought. What a world we live in make sure you tell your children you love them and give them a hug. What if this was your daughter?
