Had a great time with good people in Canberra, but always nice to be home :) I spoke several times, at the war memorial, for the bill of rights rally at parliament and at the tent embassy, The elders were happy with what I learned so far and my last article, so are continuing to educate me, which I had been eye opening, so I hope I can support them into the future in regards to achieving a treaty with our government and their pursuit to regain their own self determination. I was blessed to be staying near the Eagle Hawke Hotel, great pub, fantastic meals, and the hot rod show just down the road, so every arvo we had rods and bikes up and down the road and dropping in, and I so love bikes and rods, love to take mine up one year :) The media were scarce as usual, but lets hope the ideal of a Bill of Rights continues to gain momentum and at the same time a treaty with this lands original people will be on the agenda, its past time Australia grew up with the truth as the driver. Our constitution is outdated, we have no defined and protected rights, and our English heritage has been well and truly lost in the past, so it is time for use to move forward into the 22nd century using our past mistakes to guide us. Here are a few photos.
