Had a great trip to Tennessee today to see my Nanny (Christine Lesley Pressley). She was my best friend growing up. I spent almost every weekend with her. Anytime it snowed, I spent the night so I could get snowed in with her. I loved the smell of her sheets. She always let me wear one of her gowns to bed. I have so many wonderful memories with her. She doesnt remember everyone, but Im sure she knew who I was. She sang a little of It Is Well with me. Michael sang to her and others at the nursing home. He made a friend. A man named Homer and his wife. She never talked or really acknowledged anything till Michael sang to her. And she said something to him. His face smiled and he said: She talked! She talked to me! The man and Michael share the same birthday. He will be 85 and Michael will be 4 on September 8. Then my aunt Karen Marion had some pics I dont remember ever seeing. This day goes down in the great memories category.
