Had a great weekend of Cycling with two great groups! First rode out to the scenic Valley of Fire State Park with Lisa Caterbone & Biking Las Vegas. Saw Big Horn Sheep with scenic views - highlight of the ride... 21% incline! Felt even better coming down! 42 miles of rolling hills this Saturday. Sunday I rode with the upcoming & here to stay 702 Shifters with San San Miguel, Patrón Jude Reyes & Lead Out Paul Malig for a nice 62 miler to Lake Las Vegas. Finished out the day solo with a nice ride through the Red Rock Loop and out to SR 160. Total miles for the day 103 in 6:03 hours riding time. Borrowing a quote from Steve Steve Nichols, the Loop was a SufferFest. Saw some burros out by 160... Even more priceless the look of the other cyclist when I told him he had burros up ahead! Cycling... Its alive & well in Las Vegas, ya just gotta get out there & make it your own! Enjoy!
