Had a great weekend with a visit to North City Country Music club in Porirua. Great singers with a great variety of artists and songs and we all had a good time! Nice to catch up with everyone at the first club day since Christmas and see all our North City Country Music friends and meet some new ones! Visited Otaki RSA with the Blue Highway band on Saturday night and had a great night. Wasnt a huge crowd, but an awesome crowd. Good songs and great singers and the band played well to boot! Good to hear Dick Thomas perform his song for Noel Driver about the Pike River 29. Lovely song. Awesome to head to Nancys Club too and meet some of Doug and Nancys family from Pitcairn Island. Awesome to see Dougie surrounded by family and friends and see him so happy. Heading to Rewas birthday in Levin in the weekend and looking forward to catching up with all the friends and whanau!
