Had a hard time sleeping last night. I was thinking of the homeless people. I live I an old trailer, have at least transportation to get me around town. I may not have new clothes, but I have warm clothes. I have a loving family, lots of friends which I am thankful for. How much we take for granted what we have when we think of those less fortunate then we are. The cold weather is coming upon us and I think about where the homeless will be. These are people just like you and I who had misfortunes in their lives. When I did a paper on homeless years ago I visited one and I was surprise to see it was old people whose income was so little they couldnt keep up payments or people whose jobs closed down, or people who had medical issues and couldnt work anymore. I could very well be one of them. God has provided for me in more ways then I can count. Lets pray for the homeless and those who are willing to help them. Thank You Lord for my home, warm clothes, my family and friends and Lord help me not to complain about the little things. Father God be with all those who have no place to go, and bless those who are willing to help provide for them. Lord shelter them from the bitter cold of the season.
