Had a little bit of a conflict with a few people whom are friends - TopicsExpress

Had a little bit of a conflict with a few people whom are friends of mine on the bus. They asked, Do you go to a certain church? I told them, I do if I dont have to work on a Sunday. Then I asked them why. They asked me about what my views are and I told them, I do not judge those whom are choosing to believe differently than I do. Then they asked me, How so? I told them, I have friends as well as family members that are anything from Christian in all different denominations, Catholic, all the way to Atheist then I mentioned that Im a Pentecostal Christian. They asked, How did you manage that? I told them, Jesus helped out many sinners and non-believers so I wish to do the same. They were like, Wow! I told them, My love for God will prevail, but Im reserving judgement because they have proven themselves to be valiant friends in different ways. Why would I judge somebody whom isnt a believer when there are people that worship another power and wont even judge those people? They responded, But that doesnt make any sense. I replied, Them? Us? Look at them. They are just as much of a human as you or I. What differences do you see on the outside? They were speechless. Online friends like Ryan Taylor whom has been an understanding friend and even Saga Meow Meow have given me the push I needed to be myself while looking at life from another persons perspective which I am grateful for despite our differences. Needless to say, my words and opinions got a few people complimenting me once we got to the bus depot. Getting my opinion out felt great, even if other people will hate me for it later!
