Had a little trouble with the 700 (.308) tonight. I put about 28rds of SSA 175gr HPBT through her, using a 10rd AI mag, usually in 3 shot groups. Every once in awhile, I would chamber a round, go to pull the trigger and it had not reset. (I was told by the previous owner that the factory trigger was replaced with a Jewel drop in). I dropped the mag, extracted the loaded round, reload and try again. The trigger reset issue never happened twice in a row. Second issue, late in the session... I noticed that the bolt became difficult to close, and sometimes REALLY hard to open, especially if the trigger didnt reset. (If that helps, its a HS Precision stock with Badger DBM.) I know next to nothing about taking them apart, and less about putting them back together again. Please help.
