Had a lovely afternoon catch up with Sue Gully. She gave me lovely flowers, an awesome surprise. Update for anyone interested : pain levels are not as high today. Also the back of my super red sausage toe is returning to normal colour!!! The change to normal colour happened over the couple of hours that Sue was here. This bodes well. If the colour continues to return and the swelling diminishes, it will be pretty safe to say that I can keep it :) my foot feels a little itchy today too. The doctors took a swab of it this morning and are happy that it is improving. Lots of good signs. Thank you once again to everyone who has been here for me during this scary time. Now can someone please smuggle in Biscuit please?
