Had a meeting at the blind school today. They think kelsey is hilarious and a total sweetheart, of course lol;) they will very minimally introduce Braille and are getting her curriculum planned and will do a new IEP. At this point they believe she may benefit from another year there, or benefit from two years of kindergarten at gateway. We will know more in the spring. They are worried that chemo is possibly causing a hearing issue (vinchristine does that) and also possible ADD/ADHD. We will go for testing but its too early to really know. She does very well in a one on one setting and not as well when she is with her friends. Which could mean she is just excited lol. I have learned that all the bumps in the road dont stop us...shes happy and healthy (except for that stupid tumor) and is amazing for taking weekly chemo like a champ!! We continue to #staystronglikeasuperhero!!!
