Had a powerful experience today at The Upper Rooms annual Spiritual Conference featuring speaker Fr. Ronald Rolheiser. The topic of this years conference was Living the Ups and Downs of Our Faith: Dark Nights and Doubt, A Failure of Faith or a Failure of Imagination. The conference was from 9-4pm and I didnt want it to end. Fr. Rolheiser was the sole presenter and he captivated all in attendance not only with this life-pondering topic, but also with his wit and passion for the Gospel message. I really didnt know much about Fr. Rolheiser before today except for the fact that he is a nationally recognized speaker and writer. I caught a YOUTUBE of him once. But I will follow him more closely now - I loved him. Shared a table with some awesome, like-minded people too and met many ILEM/CLEM friends there as well. A great day! But please checkout Fr.
