Had a pretty good day hanging on the creek bank with family catching fish :) Some poor kid wrecked his four wheeler though and came out all bloodied because he assaulted a tree with his face and flipped the four wheeler over on himself. Thank God most of the damage was to the riding toy and not his face! I think he very likely had to get stitches on both top and bottom of his right eye, and will probably have a very sore nose and a nice shiner tomorrow. The toy was all bent up, handlebars were bent down...the kid was scared to death. I had my first aid kit handy, so we got him cleaned up and calmed down. Offered to take him home, or to the hospital, but by that time he seemed okay enough to let his friend drive after they got the handlebars bent back up and the toy workable again. He called his mom to meet him up at the highway to take him to the hospital. I have no idea who he was, but hope he is okay. He was so shook up I was afraid he was going into shock, but I think we helped ease his mind once we assessed the damage to his eye. Just glad we were able to help.
