Had a reas$during talk with my nurse friend Josh a little while ago. Told him I dont think I need rehab since I already know all th$t strength conditioning I need, and those moves. Its just as easy to do this at home for me. Actually, since I am longing for home, it will be best there in my things, with Helen Wheels, Daisy Jane, etc. (I thought Josh would bust a gut laughing at their names, lol!) So when my second heart doc, not the kind one, came in, I immediately made my pitch. He said, You cant go home today because your heart is not in rhythm yet. I am cutting back the dose today in hopes that that will correct it by tomorrow. If not, we will have to give your heart a shock to recalibrate it. And then he was out the door. My kidney doc was next and he now listens to me with respect ...he agreed I could go straight home and skip rehab. Told him about the possible heart shock and he said they would give me a local anesthesia and I wouldnt feel anything and it would be over fast. We have seen how sensitive my body is to the most innocuous things, though. So please pray with me that this med works today to get my heart in more than fascinating rhythm, thank you George Gershwin :))), so I can go home tomorrow. Thanks!
