Had a sernendipitously good free time at Baum Stadium the other night with Elvis Chekwube. Got free tickets to the Razorbacks game at the gym; picked up Elvis, sleeping, and put him in my Nissan; drove to stadium area and parked free at license bureau office; walked one block and were offered free grub by a guy named Tim who was showing off his custom BBQ grill and equipment (hot dogs, chicken wings, pork chops, ribs); and paid only for 2 hot chocolates at the game. Seats were good, along third base line, but so cold and windy that Elvis and I moved down nearer home plate. He had never been to a baseball game and kept asking me, Why are the men running around in circles like that? I had to explain it was because the Razorbacks RBI Girls were showing their bare midriffs on top of the dugout and swinging their butts, and the players wanted to impress them.
