Had a step backwards today. I was setting about fitting my new build engine into the frame when I found the BGM engine mount on the right side to be faulty. You will see from the video that the centre steel bush has not been bonded correctly. There has been a lot of discussion about this particular brand of mounts lately and I for one have defended them as I have previously used the mounts and still do on my other engines. I have contacted the supplier and await their response. These mounts are brand new and have only been fitted to the case and not been subjected to any loading. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had a similar issue.
