Had a stink week. Lost my close confident Te Orohi. Stayed with her nearly all week and buried her yesterday. Went to tangi for Pat Barnie a lady who used to baby sit me when young. Saturday we had unveiling for sister in law and grandmother of whanau I first met when I went to Perth this year. Couldnt stay with them the night as I had hoped because I had to go back to Texas for poroporoaki for my mate Mrs Paul. Then last night I had to farewell my eldest daughter Ranginui as she headed out to London for a year. So a lot of tears, feeling sad, got a cold now and left running shoes at home for first time ever so couldnt go for a run in preparation for Iron Maori. BUT thankfully they will be brought down tomorrow AND my darling cooked us a nice kai in Wellington, I am not alone tonight and I am alive. Just saying. Will get better!!!
