Had a talk with Erin (my senior) today about plans for college. It seems she wasnt aware of the difference between out of state and in state tuition. Uh... its HUGE! She doesnt want to be one of those cliché Mormon girls that goes to BYU Idaho (doesnt have the grades for Provo) so she just wanted to go to another Utah college until we looked it up and it was @ $8,000/semester...JUST FOR TUITION. No way I would pay that for what you can get at BYU or a community college for less than half that. When your grades are average, your choices are more limited! Let this be a lesson to you high school students!! If you want to go to a good college... study hard!
