Had a terribly frightening thing happen today. I was walking both my tiny little Papillon dogs in the development where we are camping. A Pit Bull or Pit mix launched himself over a low brick wall trying to get to us...his front end made it over the wall, both front legs..He was making awful loud snarling noises, not even barking .I grabbed my girls and ran for 2 blocks!! Only then did I dare to look back and see if he made it over the fence. He apparently didnt. At that moment my knees turned to jelly and I felt like I was going to cry. Paul (who seems to have a 6th sense when I am in trouble) arrived right at that time in our 4-wheeler. I loaded in the girls and we left for safer places. There is NO WAY I will be walking my dogs ever again in a development like this. There are to many aggressive dogs. :(
