Had a very fruitful and much needed talk with my Dad this morning about a delicate situation that I had been procrastinating and avoiding having with him for 15 years. Sometimes as ppl we tend to avoid confronting sensitive but and necessary topics from that trigger past hurt and trauma. Sometimes we try to be strong and bury and ignore the pain but it shows in our war cry. When you have wounds you dont nurse and address it could lead to an infection which is contagious, a mindset and attitude that perpetuates a cycle of pain and hurt. When a person is sensitive its because hurt is present, like an open gunshot wound. Matthew 18:15 says if you have an issue with someone to confront them. When you do this it will clear up confusion and assumptions so that a remedy can be found and the real problem can be addressed. In so many cases innocent ppl are the blame for your pain due to misunderstanding. What I found is Satan uses fear and pride to keep us in bondage, in mental slavery, from confronting and seeking the Truth. When you confront and deal with your pain it makes you stronger, not the other way around. Today I got a Breakthrough #TruthShallSetYouFree #ThankingGod
