Had a very humbling experience this morning with all my kiddos (mine and my neice and nephew). We went to the park for several hrs and there was a man sitting on a 3 wheel bike (not bicycle, but like harley bike). He sat there for a long time and Im not gonna lie I was a little creeped out (which if you know me very well it happens very easily #scardycat) we start to head home and a couple blocks away here he comes, going 2 miles an hr creeping up on us with his dog in a crate in the back. He looked like he prolly didnt have much. He asked if we were having a good day and was telling us about his dog. We finished our conversation and we walked away and he sat there for a little bit. I was starting to worry and here he comes again behind us. He stops and he says, mam, is it ok with you if I give these fine kids a dollar? Of course I said that was fine and they acted very appreciative and thanked him. The he proceeded to ask if I needed anything. Ill give you $5 if you could use it. I really dont mind, could you use $5? I just told him I was fine and he could give it to someone else that looks like they might be struggling. He said, God told me I needed to give this to you today, so thats why I did, I hope I didnt scare you, have a blessed day! And he drove off. Very touching. There are some good people still in this world. It just sucks that you have to have your guard up at all times. I think we miss the beauty in life because of it.
