Had a very sad experience with my favorite airline Philippine Airlines last Sunday. Me and 4 kids that i am bringing to Manila were bump off our own flight simply because management decided to change their system and our slots were given to other passengers and this created chaos practically the whole day in Laguindingan Airport. After 3 hours of lining up just to check in, lo and behold they gave us our boarding passes and when we reached the pre-departure area our plane was already taxing on its way to take off. At the start until the pre-departure incident i never blew my top because i do understand the predicament that the people in the airport was facing and that was not their fault for it was definitely top managements fault for under minding the passengers. I even explained to the passengers near me who were so furious that the people in the counter shouldnt be blamed for what was happening for they too are victims of top managements action. However, being at the pre-depature area without lunch bringing with me 4 kids and watching our plane take off is too much. PAL did not even serve food when our flight was delayed for more than 2 hours and that is the passengers right. So if you were in my place what would you do? Legal action? I thought about it and considering that me and my husband are both lawyers what have we got to loose but then today, when i am less emotional i told myself will justice be really serve fighting a giant like RAMON ANG whose only purpose is to make money at the expense of the riding public? So today i decided to let it go and let the GREAT PERSON UP get the justice that me and the rest of the passengers who were anxious and very tired that day deserves. Mr. RAMON ANG of all the years that PAL has been serving the whole country this is the worst service it has ever extended the riding public. PAL is our flag carrier and it should treat its own nationals well!
