Had a wonderful 2 weeks in the Saruwagwed range, in the Huon mountains of New Guinea. Was stuck there for 3 days longer than anticipated as there are no roads and the weather was to poor for the cessna to get us. Found 6 species of robins, 4 bird of paradise species and even a dwarf cassowary and chick (a huge privelage as im one of very few white fullas to see a wild one). Off to Tari in the Southern highlands tomorrow.
