Had a wonderful dinner and reunion after 40 years (thank you Alan, Lindy, Been and Michael!) with the delightful Jenny Dugan-Chapman. Jenny was partners with Freddie Hornik in the Los Angeles branch of Granny Takes A Trip. Jenny was not only a veteran of many of the Kings Road shops including Mr. Freedom and Paradise Garage but, made sure that Grannys carried the very best of Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLarens Let It Rock, Tommy Roberts City Lights and Terry de Havilland amongst others. She also reminisced about designing and kitting out the LA shop in leopard, gold lamé, pink velvet, black satin and even a pink painted iron bed in the fitting room. I remembered how everything came from Koontz Hardware in West Hollywood.
