Had a wonderful evening at an art opening in Columbia tonight. I got to have a few much-needed and powerful conversations with dear people from my past. I was able to share with my magnificent former therapist, who helped me through processing so much loss, pain and trauma, that I am off all psych meds and anxiety medications—she was aghast and thrilled. Favorite quote of mine from the night: I used to have social anxiety disorder until I got off Xanax! Also saw my former brother and sister in law and was able to share the joy with them, heard several times you look great! from people who knew me in my medication-induced haze and depression. I was also invited to do an exhibit at a great gallery in Columbia and several other leads on shows. Power networking tonight. Feels so good to be on the other side!
