Had a wonderful evening of music at Fyling Hall school. Eliza Carthy singing my favourite - Willow Tree - and sounding more like her mum as time goes by. Wonderful performances from students - it would be churlish to single out any of them! And what a great bunch of kids. Teenagers dont have the best reputation these days, but the ones I meet are great -far more mature, balanced and cool than I remember being at their age! All credit to Sam, Lizzie, Kathy (Happy Birthday!), Sandra, Bob and Gillian for fostering a love of music in these youngsters. And the very best to all those who are leaving this year.
