Had a wonderful farewell dessert time last night at Brian and Janices home. Both sets of grandparents and Davids Aunt Linda were there along with his family to laugh, enjoy the blueberry pie and ice cream and have a great time together. Prayers appreciated for David today as he begins his new next phase of life. He leaves Lansing on a Greyhound bus at approx. 3:30pm, has a 2 1/2 hour transfer in Chicago, then travels through Iowa and Nebraska, with only a 30 minute transfer in Omaha, then proceeds to Colorado with a 6 hour transfer in Denver on Thursday evening before continuing on to Cheyenne, Wyoming and arriving at 2:15 am (4:15 am our time). There he will wait for his cousin and friend to pick him up and take him the hour drive to LaGrange! Praying he will meet someone to enjoy the traveling with and they can help look out for each others luggage while the other goes to the necessary room or for food. Over 36 hours of traveling!!!!
