Had a wonderful morning walking around in Rocky Ford in a Ethnobotany tour. We walked through streams and on a nice poison ivy path. We got to look at fish and over 50 plants that the Cherokee use for one purpose or another. I was pretty upset with myself because I left my pencil in the van. I had an amazing time. I was so proud of my group. We even had a 82 year old elder, ADA, complete the tour. She is a mighty fine lady. We had a good afternoon in our Cherokee Language Class. I wished we had time to slow down to absorb it all. I will be heading to Stickball in a little bit. That will be fun. Hope everyone has a great evening.
