Had a wonderful time last night. We tried to pretend that it wasnt over and did the usual things we did together...scrabble, karaoke, singing with the guitar, but the quiet sobs here and there reminded us it was the end. Ill miss shooting with you. Ill miss hours of talking to you in the dark watching the moons reflection in the pool. Ill miss getting my ass kicked at every board game we played together. Ill miss surprise sticky notes and flowers and good morning kisses. Ill miss dunking and splashing each other in the pool. Ill miss play fighting on the couch. Ill miss the safety of your presence and the way you fulfilled my whole being...intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically. Ill miss making dinners together and hanging out with the kids. Ill miss the way my daughter says your name when we pull into your driveway. Ill miss the fact that you wanted all of me....daughter included. Ill miss slow dancing in the back room just because we felt like it. Ill miss your humor and long silly stories, Ill miss trying new things together and knowing my way through every part of your house in complete darkness. Ill miss feeling like your best friend and girlfriend at all times. Ill miss the look you gave me when I say something silly or off the wall. I feel like Ive experienced a lifetime with you in just a few months. I love you and I wish you the best in the next chapter of your life.
