Had an appt with Dr. Ali today, he talked about the spots that were suspicious on the pet scan..... He has consulted with his colleagues and they are still uncertain if it is something to worry about or not...he gave me a few options... I can have a biopsy done to find out for sure...if it comes back positive that moves me to stage 4...I can do nothing and hope that the chemo and radiation they will give me will take care of it, or we can throw another drug into my chemo regimen and just treat it like it is cancer....if they do the biopsy, and it is positive, they will add the new drug anyways.... Leaning towards just adding the drug and hoping for the best... But kind of want to know for sure what we are dealing with... Just hope we make the right decision..
