Had an awesome New Years Day yesterday.The SWly wind was exhausting, the 199 steps in Whitby rather challenging and the Cleveland Way cliff paths very slippy, but overall it was really exhilarating. I had been dreading nightfall but it was actually very enjoyable coming in towards the lights of Robin Hoods Bay over the cliffs in the pitch dark - I was glad to have Alices company. Finished with 3 cups of sweet tea, soup, yummy cakes and a lovely massage from Cat Bells - which have left my legs feeling so good I can actually contemplate a little run today! Thank you to Jon Steele , Shirley Steele and everyone of you who helped out to give us all such a great day. This is going to be the first of several longer runs for me this year :-) See you all at Osmotherly
