Had an experience last night that reminded me to remind you about. If you are skeptical of intuitive work, animal communication, etc., that is perfectly OK. No judgment. We all have different levels of beliefs. With that said, here are some tips for you when talking with an intuitive: Please dont put people on the spot to do a reading or assessment of something to test them. Even the best of the best readers can, and do, get thrown off in those situations. And to ask for a general read is oftentimes worse. If you desire a reading, ask them ahead of time and be willing to pay for their work. Or let them know youll be asking some questions. We arent on all the time, especially if were getting bombarded with a lot of other information. While I tend to be able to tap in fairly quickly, if Im stressed or startled its not always that easy. If you do put someone on the spot, be gentle about your assessment due to circumstances. Its different when you hire someone to tune into you, your animal(s), or your situation. There is a more openness and a different relationship there as opposed to let me test you out and see what you get. There are ways for me to frame a question in order for you to get the answer. If I dont know what kind of information youre looking for then I have a pretty good chance of not being able to ask the question in a way to get the answer youre looking to get answered. And I am asking the question a few different ways before I even answer you verbally. Personally, when Im hired to work with an animal (or person) and am asked to give an assessment, I know where my boundaries are, what kind of questions I can ask, the depth to go, etc. The relationship with the person is also more open and direct (for me). And the more specific the question you have for me to ask of an animal, the more specific youll get of an answer. Think of it like this - when you ask someone How do you feel? The answer is most often vague with Im fine. But ask them Do you have pain anywhere? Or Where is your biggest frustration?, youll get much different answer. Its no different for an animal. Vague questions get vague answers. And it can appear that person would just get that info from watching you or the animal. I can tell you Im tuning in at that point and not paying attention to body language. It takes too much energy to pay that much attention to both in that moment. You just set that person up for failure to try and prove your point. Sometimes they prove you right and sometimes they surprise you. Do you go to the doctor and give some background information? Or do you go in and say to them Tell me what you get about me. Where do I hurt? Whats wrong with me? They have nothing to go off of other than you made an appt. Most intuitives are not doing this as a party trick. Nor is it one. We expand on the knowledge you give us and there should be markers of some sort for you to know theyre reading you or your animal. You dont need to give all the information, but its ok to give some.
