Had an interesting chat last night with a teenager from a deprived council estate, who talked about how hard it was for him, his parents and those around him to break out of the shackles of poverty and the system that ties them to it. He surprised me how he talked most intelligently about the inequality gap, about consciousness awakening and social change, all which he had learnt from his access to the internet, he freely admitted he struggled in school. He had great hope which he held on to tightly, and this was great to see, knowledge is power and empowering, and I love that despite his hardships, he has access to the net to give him hope that he needs. The kids are the future and they want to change the world and make it a better place, and they will, maybe soon. Im looking forward to 2015 and a bright future for us all, Happy Christmas everyone xx
