Had an interesting conversation with a man from India I work with (not directly) who is a professed Muslim. This man months ago actually gave me a Quran kindly and I said why thank you. Weve spoke about Jesus briefly in the past but really started to converse about Jesus the other night. Needless to say he doesnt believe Jesus was the Son of God but a mere prophet who was created. I told him that Jesus said that he existed before the world was in which this gentleman had a difficult time understanding. Anyways long story short I told him he should read the bible and read all the words the Jesus speaks and that he proclaims. To not do it with a bias on being Muslim or Christian or whatever. But read what Jesus himself says. The kind man started to get interested and I see I got his attention. I told him how Jesus said he has come for the lost sheep of the house of Israel and that salvation is through him. And that all who believe in him not a Jew are , through him, grafted into the common wealth and become as Israel. Become his people. Now I really got the gentlemans attention and he really seems as if he learned something he never knew but perceived it as truth. He admits to me that he doesnt know everything and does wants to learn more and possibly take me up on my suggestion. We will see where it goes. Praise God.
