Had an interesting divine appointment happen an hour ago. It actually started about 3 days ago when I received a check in my mail intended for someone else by accident. Because of the stormy weather I couldnt get it delivered sooner. I didnt want to do the return to sender thing either because mail theft has been a problem in my neighborhood. So I decided to get out and walk to the receivers address instead. All together it was a 4.5 mile walk. It felt GREAT to finally leave the house for a much longer amount of time. I got the correct address after calling the person the check is intended for. She is a Mary Kay Sales Director and so her phone number showed up on Google because it was her business number. Anyhow, once I got the correct address from her, I was able to deliver the check. This womans daughter opened the door. She told me that her mother wasnt able to come up because she just had chemo done and wasnt feeling like herself. After talking about how theyve been having mail delivery problems and how bad the weather has been the past 3 days to, Would you like a ride home? Its an awful long way to walk from Greenwood to Greenlake to here. And me saying, Oh no thank you, Ive had the worst case of cabin fever this past 3 days, I just want to get out of the house, get my work schedule, and finish my Christmas shopping. After all of that small talk I said, You mentioned that your mother had chemo done. The entire time walking here I felt that we are not going cross paths for no reason. Is there something specific I can lift up in prayer? So heres the info: This Mary Kay Sales Director, her name is Elayne Rice. She has liver cancer.
