Had an interesting evening after the lights Finally came back on. Before the lights went out, I was cleaning & oiling my new vintage sewing machine 301A. Before I did this Eth-Lyn sewed just fine. She didnt after I cleaned her. I put in new needles, rewound bobbins, rethreaded & rethreaded it...but still messy bobbin threads. Loopy! Made me crazy. I watched & rewatched all the videos. Finally, I got the courage to take apart the top tension & spring! Bingo! I fixed it! I was sweatn it. She sure sews pretty! I learned a lot of history about this machine by watching all those videos!
