Had an interview with the Curry Coastal Pilot Newspaper today in Brookings, OR then made our way to the South Coast Humane Society where we met all kinds of furry friends looking for their humans. Scruffy(on the bike) really stole our heart. Hes about 10 yrs old and was adopted out a few years back. He was later found as a stray with a large tumor on his tail (had to be amputated), a yeast infection in both ears, completely matted and filthy and in very bad shape. Through it all, he has remained a gentle soul and still very trusting in other human and pups alike. Hes still recovering, but is going to male the right person a very lucky human. Thing about older friends is that they come with years of puppy wisdom built in. Puppy wisdom is very powerful and can heal a broken heart so come on Brookings, OR. Someone step up and give this little man a new home. Support your local shelters, ride your bikes and hug your dogs...and cats...and rats...and snakes. Well you can hug your snakes.
