Had fun last night...went to the Buffalo Room at the Westport Flea Market for an open mic. Played three scrape off the rust and sweep the cobwebs off tunes, and got to listen to some amazing local talent - including a set of brand new tunes from Nicole Springer. Got a bit of a chance to hang and flap my jaw with Nicole and Tim Jenkins... That was my first time at the Buffalo Room. Friendly staff. There was a gremlin hovering in the center stage direct box or channel on the snake that made nearly everyones guitar signal break up, but it seemed to be remedied for the most part by the middle of the evening.
