Had my chemo today at the cancer center and a man was getting a blood transfusion he stopped to talk to us and he moved me today more than ever. I do not know his name he never introduced himself so we just talked. This Monday his Doctors told him they had done all they can do for his metastatic prostate cancer. He had gone through all the chemos and now he was left with 0 to try. He talked a lot about his kids, grandchildren and his family. He said he has the most positive attitude and he does. He said he will never stop living and I believed him. I told him I would pray for him, I told him to never give up hope, miracles happen every day. He is moving on with finishing his new house he is building out of town and as a matter of fact was leaving there tonight to buy stairs to install. If hope springs eternal he had given me strength to push forward because to be quite honest you can get tired of the fight sometimes and when you run into chemos that do not work, you too worry about the day when you sit across from the Doctors and they cannot do anything for you. You can be upset about the fact that Cancer has robbed you financially, emotionally and physically , today I was feeling really a bit down but I never give into it and maybe today God put this man in my path to show me that in the darkest of moments we do have light and we do have hope and we do have love. Thanks for listening. Please say a prayer for this man tonight I sure hope God blesses him with his miracle.
