Had my first real sign from Mom. I have been trying to fix/sell/get rid of our treadmill for months now. Finally we decided to take it to the trash place by our house when we passed it by accident we were flagged down by an older woman crossing the street. She asked a few questions about it and asked if we could drop it in her backyard. As we are unloading it she tells us how she is eager to lose her weight she gained from having breast cancer. Immediately my heart aches for this woman who tells us she is five months into remission. When Paige tells her how we know her pain because I lost my mother two months ago she smiled and went on to tell me how she was strong and went through the worst of pain but is in a better place now. We continued to chat with her about how blessed people are to not ever experience it and how grateful people are to have won the battle against cancer. She told us God only takes the strong because he doesnt want to be surrounded by people who are weak and feel sorry for themselves. Now Im not too religious but I am spiritual and if that isnt a sign from Mom I dont know what is. She is okay and not in pain anymore I miss her like crazy but she is in paradise.
