Had my first ride on a freeway yesterday with TW 200 and almost had a heart attack when there were huge trucks on my left trying to pull out in front of me and huge fast moving suvs and bakkies racing up from behind me then past. I know the limits 120 but getting myself to get from 80 to even just 100kph was asking for a miracle! How does one overcome the fear of being hit by a fast moving vehicle?? My husband was annoyed with me, on his KTM 950 he saw everything and says Im going way too slow. But I was so scared. Was I on the freeway too soon? Been riding dirtroads on a TTR 125 on and off for 4 years but these are my first experiences on tar with traffice :(
