Had my own very special unexpected Merry Christmas moments last night. It had been a fairly long day. We concluded things late in the day and had worked through lunch. I went back to my room and rested for awhile. I decided to have a late dinner. There were only a few people in the restaurant. As I was finishing my meal the waitress stopped by and said this would normally be the time that I would ask you about dropping off your check but your dinner was already paid for. She pointed over to a table near me and said the gentleman who had been sitting there paid your bill and told me to wish you a Merry Christmas. How totally cool was that ? It was such a wonderful holiday gesture I had to pay it forward. It wasnt about the free dinner. It was about a complete stranger being so generous and kind hearted. I left the waitress a $20 tip.
